SKØL BANDIT – RESURRECTION: A HEAVY METAL POWERHOUSE REBORN
With a seamless fusion of searing hard rock, blistering power metal, and a thunderous groove that hits like a sledgehammer, SKØL BANDIT roars back into the scene. Their DNA is a raging firestorm of modern heavy music and old-school metal attitude, a band that refuses to bow to trends and instead defines what heavy should feel like.
Rooted deeply in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) and inspired by legends like Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Queensrÿche, SKØL BANDIT has sharpened their twin-lead guitar attack since the eighties. After dropping their first full-length PARALYSOR in 1991 — a cult favorite among metal diehards — they briefly reunited in 2003 to storm stages with British rock juggernauts Nazareth. Now, after battles fought and lineup changes survived, the iron-clad core of Thomas Kielwein, André Kuttler, Jeffrey Appiah, and Stefan Horn stands stronger than ever.
And now... they have unleashed RESURRECTION.
RESURRECTION is no ordinary comeback — it’s a goddamn declaration of war. Ten tracks forged in the fires of metal purity, each one blending crushing riffs, apocalyptic drum assaults, and vocals so blistering they’ll tear the paint off your walls. Collaborating with the dark and powerful voice of Michelle Darkness, SKØL BANDIT has carved out a slab of heavy music that drags you in by the throat and never lets go.
Tracks like "The Last Descent" and "Nevermore" ooze a slow-burn menace, blending hints of doom and sludge into the band’s signature power metal storm. Thick, sludgy riffs grind against hammering rhythms, while soaring leads rip across the sky like lightning strikes. This isn't retro metal — it’s a reinvention, an evolution. It's metal with scars.
Then there's "Defiance" — a feral, uptempo rager that's pure, unfiltered adrenaline. It's the kind of track that will have festival mosh pits exploding into total chaos. It's treacherous, it's raw, it’s the battle cry of a band that knows they were born to stand on stage and conquer.
From start to finish, RESURRECTION isn’t just a good album — it’s a weapon. It’s built for the blood, sweat, and fire of festival fields, ready to rip apart the calm of summer with a blast of pure, undiluted heavy metal energy. SKØL BANDIT aren’t here to relive the past — they’re here to redefine the future.
Load your speakers. Raise your horns. Get in the pit.
SKØL BANDIT are back — and they’re born ready.
